I’m learning that prayer is not an occasional meeting with a distant power
It’s not a formal speech with a list of questions
It’s not a burdensome task
It’s a moment by moment communion with my truest friend
It’s a constant surrender to the one who calls me His
It’s a simple cry for His nearness
It’s a continuous conversation that never ends
O Father, help me to never stop praying
Help me to see that prayer is beautiful and not a burden
Help me to find intimacy with You through my one-word utterances
Hear me when I cry, “I believe, help my unbelief.”
